Please share your concerns with the Sheriff about the progress of Kristins investigation and support his departments efforts to find Kristin. Please encourage the Sheriff and his staff to utilize every available resource at their command to bring a resolution to this case. Both his family and the Smart family will benefit when he comes forward and cooperates with the Sheriff's Department. Finding Rachel Newhouse and Aundria Crawford, (the other two missing college coeds missing from San Luis Obispo during the last school year) was a great step forward for the community.

However, the resolution of these cases only reinforces that cases can be solved when law enforcement agencies cooperate and work together and refuse to give up.

The Sheriff Department continues to move in a forward direction, and your support of their efforts reinforces their resolve and commitment!

Please feel free to write them expressing your feelings of sorrow and grief over Kristin's case. And it might not hurt to express your displeasure over the way they have handling this case. Perhaps ask why Kristin's name does not appear on their website, or why they offered web space to the families of Aundria Crawford and Rachel Newhouse within weeks, yet Kristin remains missing for over three years and they have yet to make any offerings to her family; and Crawford wasn't even a student at Cal Poly. We understand what the Crawfords and the Newhouses have been through, however, these organizations have yet to understand that doing a good job isn't bad, it is terrible.

Meybe ask why it is nearly impossible to find Kristin's articles on their website, and why when it does apear it is only in relation to, Aundria Crawford or Rachel newhouse. We support the Crawfords and the Newhouses in their time of need, however their case is solved and the culprit apprehended, while we still wonder about Kristin.
